We've had a REALLY tough few days in this neck of the woods as a result of the freak October snowstorm that knocked out power throughout the state. As I write this on Monday night, over half the state of Connecticut is still without power following the storm which hit on Saturday. I was one of the lucky few fortunate enough to maintain power throughout the ordeal. I hope everyone gets electrified real soon!
I've started work on recording a new song called Drivin' At The Racearena which I premiered at the SNYRA Reunion in September. So far, I've laid down the drum parts and recorded the bass guitar parts as well. Tomorrow night, I plan to do some editing on the bass tracks to clean them up and finalize them for the mix. I'm not sure what's next after that, maybe the electric guitars. We'll see...
This weekend, I will be performing at the Kent Pizza Garden in Kent, CT (assuming they have their power back on by then). You might want to check in here to be sure it is ON prior to making the trip. Hopefully all will be back to normal by then! It's a fun place to perform at and should be a good time.
Details are on the Performances page.
I hope to see you there!
