A great time was had by all at Rosy's on Mother's Day.  The place was really busy all night long and there was a fun and enthusiastic crowd there. I played my Mother's Day favorites which included Mother by Pink Floyd and Mother & Child Reunion by Paul Simon as well as a bunch of other related songs. On a bittersweet note, after eleven years it was bartender Greg's last night working there.  We tried to get him to come up and sing a song with me, but it unfortunately never materialized.  We reminisced about a party I played at many years ago that Greg hosted in which the police from 3 different agencies cane to quiet down.  Needless to say, it was quite a party! Best wishes to Greg on all his current and future endeavors.  I'm sure our paths will cross again sometime down the road. I'm scheduled to be back at Rosy's on June 17th, but that may change due to some scheduling conflicts.  Time will tell...  We'll keep you posted! Wow!

The event is free and open to the public. 

I will be focusing primarily on my own material with an emphasis on the songs I've written about the City of Danbury.  These include: Danbury Fair, The Danbury Westerners Theme and my new one, Drivin' At The Racearena.  I plan to perform these aongs as well as provide some insight on the writing and recording process of them.  In addition, I will be performing music from my CD's Shades of Dave and Cats and Cars and Presidents.  Of course, I'll be sure to throw in a few "hits" as well!

  

It should be a fun afternoon that I think everyone will enjoy!

I recently came to the realization that I have enough songs recorded&nbsp;(in various states of completion) to put together a new CD.&nbsp; Some of the songs, you have heard before and others you have not.&nbsp; In any case, I hope to have&nbsp;the new CD finished by the end of the year for all to enjoy! It's been a little while...

My last gig at the Chili WInter Warm-Up back in February was a blast!  We had a big turnout and the event was a huge success.  Thanks to everyone for coming out for the festivities!  In case you haven't seen them yet, I've posted some photos on the Photos page and a video on the Video page from the event.



This weekend, I will be at Rosy Tomorrows in Danbury, CT on Sunday night.  The music will get underway at 6:00pm (remember to set your clocks for Daylight Saving Time on Saturday night!).  Among many others, I plan to play at least one song by The Monkees in memory of Davy Jones!  As always, details are on the Performances page.  I hope to see you there!

I haven't actually played a gig since New Year's Day so I'm looking forward to returning to Rosy Tomorrows this weekend!

I will be there on Sunday night beginning at 6:00pm.

I've been making good progress on the recording of my latest song, Drivin' At The Racearena.  Everything is recorded and I have moved on to the mixing stage.  It's coming out great and I think you (and especially racing fans) will really enjoy it!  I recently posted some photos from the sessions on the Photos page if you'd like to take a look.



On February 19th, I will be performing at the annual Winter Chili Cook-Off held at the Danbury Ice Arena.  It's a fund-raising event for the Danbury Westerners baseball team and other local organizations.  It's a fun-filled day with music provided by me and others!  Read the article from the Danbury Patch for more info.
